Feed the Fire Worlds Guide: Forest, Space and Ice

Follow the forest-to-space-to-ice route in Feed the Fire, learn which encounters trigger the moves, and prepare to rebuild when you reach space.

Feed the Fire’s world route goes starting forest → space world → ice biome. To advance from the forest, keep your fire alive through the storms and beat Tempest. In space, grow the fire through the sun’s attacks and survive the crush array before the escape to ice. Both moves follow the encounters automatically.

1. Starting forest: survive Tempest to reach space

The forest is the opening area, with trees around your growing fire and storms threatening its progress. Your goal is to keep feeding the fire through the escalating storms until you survive Tempest, the final storm encounter before the move to space.

Keep building the fire even when an earlier storm barely damages it: later storms can still reduce its level. A large fire during one wave does not make the remaining encounters harmless.

After you survive Tempest, the setting changes to a different planet. The new spawner and the angry sun attacking your fire mark your arrival in the space world. For help getting through the forest encounters, use the storm survival guide.

2. Space world: build through the sun’s attacks

Space starts you rebuilding with a small fire and a new set of purchases. The hot crate, conveyor belt and extra spawners help establish your new setup; fuel that lands on the conveyor rides along it.

To work toward the ice biome:

  1. Feed the fire with molten rocks. Build its level between the sun’s attacks, adding to your fuel setup as you can afford purchases.
  2. Meet the blast’s fire-level requirement. Blast two requires fire level eight. Keep growing beyond that for the later encounters.
  3. Survive the crush array. The message “You survived the crush array” marks completion of that encounter.

The following sequence brings in a bigger star that destroys the sun, then turns against you. The escape leads into the frozen ice biome. For the fuller setup and encounter details, see the World 2 guide.

Prepare for a fresh start in space

On the forest-to-space move, your money and fire level restart low. Plan to earn and purchase upgrades again on arrival rather than budgeting around your forest cash balance. Rebuilding is part of entering this world.

3. Ice biome: switch to oil and fish

The ice biome is a frozen wasteland without the forest’s trees. Oil equipment and penguins replace the familiar starting setup: oil rigs support the oil supply, an oil gun is used against the giant snowball, and penguins can throw fish into the fire.

The snow, oil equipment and penguins make the new area easy to recognize. Continue with the frozen biome guide for its objectives and encounters.
