Feed the Fire fuel unlocks and how to use them

Spend your earnings in Feed the Fire’s upgrade tree to unlock lightning chains, explosive fuel and firework blasts. Feed electric fuel into the fire to gather nearby logs with lightning, feed explosive barrels into the flames, and buy and place a firework spawner to get fireworks that set off during a round.

Where to unlock new fuels

After a round ends, select UPGRADE on the results screen. This opens the FEED YOUR FIRE — every buy reveals more panel. Buying upgrade cards reveals further cards, including new fuel unlocks and upgrades to their effects.

As you spend, look for the electric chain, Unlock explosive fuel and the firework spawner. Buy the unlock, then use the fuel or complete its placement prompt. For a broader explanation of the panel, see the upgrade tree guide.

Chain lightning: gather nearby logs

Buy the electric chain fuel unlock in the upgrade tree. During a round, feed the electric fuel into the fire to trigger lightning that chains through nearby logs and pulls them into the flames. This lets one electric fuel use bring in several pieces of fuel.

The tree also offers repeatable chain length upgrades. These extend the chain to more items. How much it collects depends on your purchased chain length and the amount of fuel nearby; it can still leave logs behind. Look for the lightning gathering logs into the fire to recognize the effect.

Explosive fuel: feed the barrel into the fire

Purchase Unlock explosive fuel to add explosive barrels. To use one, feed the barrel into the fire to trigger its explosive effect. When the field fills with logs, make sure the barrel itself reaches the flames.

A later card reads Explosions can combine. Look for that entry as more of the tree becomes visible; it is a further upgrade to the explosion effect.

Firework blasts: buy and place the spawner

Buy the firework spawner, then follow the Place your firework spawner prompt. Choose a spot and place it to finish setting it up. Its fireworks set off during a round.

Later fuel options to look for

Further progression adds more fuel choices and related upgrades:

• Power cells: look for unlocks power cells in the tree. A follow-up charged fueling upgrade adds a zap effect.
• Gas canisters: the Unlock gas can entry adds this fuel option.
• Fuel cells: another fuel option available later in progression.
• Electric spawner: another spawner available to purchase.

Keep checking the newly revealed cards after purchases so you can distinguish a new fuel unlock from an upgrade that strengthens an effect you already own.
